If your organization manages its own DIR3 codes, here's what you need to do to get SIR and how changes to the DIR3 structure might affect SIR.
Attention : This information is only for those organizations for which the AOC Consortium does not manage its DIR3 codes. However , if the body is from the public sector of the Generalitat , you must contact the Department of the Presidency so that they can create the office for you.
From Consorci AOC we manage the DIR3 codes of most local bodies in Catalonia, but some local bodies manage their codes directly. Also, in the case of non-local entities (universities, other institutions...) the AOC Consortium cannot manage their codes.
For those entities that manage the codes, the administrator will have to follow these steps to register the new office:
- Access the DIR3 code management website and identify yourself.
- From the "Offices" section press "New office"
- Fill in the details of the new registration office as follows:
- Name of the office : General Registry of [Name of the entity] *
- Administration : The specific type of administration (local, universities, other organizations...)
- Responsible unit : The name of the organic unit corresponding to the body of EACAT must be indicated. **
- Services : Registry Office
- Related organic units : Indicate the name of the body to which it depends.
- The rest of the data will be filled in with the information of each body.
* it is essential that the name of the office contains the full name of the body so that other bodies can locate it easily.
** In order to link the organic unit of DIR3 to its corresponding entity of EACAT, it is necessary that in the organic unit on which the office depends, the INE10 code of the entity has been reported in the field "Provider code" . If you modify or remove this code, the SIR service will stop working.
Once the administrator has created the new office, you only need to open a support request and tell us the resulting office code (It will be a code starting with the letter O) so that we can manage the registration of the entity in SIR.
