This article is addressed to public administrations. If you are a citizen interested in obtaining the register , visit your town hall's website for instructions on how to apply.

The communication of address data is part of the Via Oberta Registry service .

The purpose of the Padró service is to facilitate the exchange of data from the municipal register of inhabitants (PMH) between public administrations and other entities with legal and security guarantees, to prevent the citizen from having to present documentation to prove his home address. This is why it includes two inter-administrative collaboration services:

  • The electronic communication, by an interested party, of the data of his address of residence to a set of public administrations.
  • The online consultation of data from the municipal register of inhabitants at the request of a public administration or an interested party in the framework of a procedure or management that requires the accreditation of the address of residence.

In both cases, it is necessary that the city council has configured itself as the transferor of its PMH data, using one of the two options:

  • Municipalities with +20,000 inhabitants can directly connect their PMH to the Via Oberta Register service. To do this, you must have signed a collaboration agreement with the AOC Consortium.
Once the agreement has been signed, the city council must contact the Integration Support Office through the following form , specifying as the service involved the option Via Oberta and the Subject: "Integration of the PMH in Padró service".
  • Municipalities with -20,000 inhabitants can delegate the management of their PMH to a supra-municipal body (Diputació or Consell Marcal) with which the AOC Consortium has signed a collaboration agreement for the electronic issuance of flyers from the municipal register of 'inhabitants.
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Provincial Council of Barcelona for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Provincial Government of Girona for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Provincial Council of Lleida for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Tarragona County Council for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Baix Penedès County Council for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
    • Collaboration Agreement between the AOC Consortium and the Baix Empordà Regional Council for the electronic issuance of leaflets from the Municipal Register of Inhabitants
